Basic courses
These courses cover a range of fundamental concepts and techniques expected to be known by all clinical coders. These lessons are designed to complement and reinforce, not replace, the basic knowledge gained through study of the NHS Digital Standards course.

Intermediate courses
These courses are appropriate for coders who have progressed beyond the basics and are now looking for more in depth coverage of specific topics. You should have successfully completed the NHS Digital Standards course and be familiar with the content of the basic courses in the Academy before starting these courses.
