This course covers which scans always need to be coded versus those only coded within certain settings. It looks at which scans are classified to body system chapter codes and those within Chapter U. It covers the national standards surrounding scans of more than one body region and scans using more than one method of imaging. Finally, it looks at Y97 & Y98.
